When two A-list celebrities from different worlds get married, the guest list can be complicated — just ask Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
When Swift first got engaged, she was busy telling everyone, including talk show host Graham Norton in October 2025, that the wedding was going to be “huge.” Now, the couple is reportedly dialing back the guest list, according to an Us Weekly source who claimed Swift and Kelce are capping out at around 150 guests.

“It won’t be a huge wedding, but there will be many celebrities,” they shared while dropping names like Emma Stone, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Miles Teller, and Patrick Mahomes. A second insider added, “They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private. As of now, they’ve scaled it down. It’s no longer going to be a massive blowout.”

The big day might be so intimate that Swift and Kelce “aren’t even sure they will” even send out formal invitations in the mail to ensure their privacy. But rest assured, everyone on that guest list already knows the date and location for their wedding.
This isn’t the first time Swifties have heard about a downsized wedding, and reportedly, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s June 2025 wedding is top of mind for Swift.
“Taylor hated the optics of that whole Bezos thing. She doesn’t want people rolling their eyes. She wants something real — something grounded,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack in December 2025. They described her ideal day as “intimate” and “calm” because “she wants to actually enjoy this, not perform it.”
Swift might also be sensitive to the message that an over-the-top wedding would send to her fans in a struggling economy. Rosie O’Donnell even commented on the Bezos-Sánchez wedding last year.
“The BEZOS wedding,” the comedian wrote on Instagram on June 30, 2025. “It turned my stomach. Seeing all these billionaires. Gathering in the gross excess of it all. The show of it.”
The smaller wedding might also take the sting out of friends in Swift and Kelce’s outer circle, understanding that they won’t be getting an invite.
Comedian Andrew Santino isn’t setting himself up for disappointment even though he is friends with the NFL star.
“He’s got a lot of dogs from Ohio that he’s loyal to,” Santino said on the September 12, 2025, episode of the podcast, Pardon My Take. “We met later in life … I’m an adult friend. I don’t think I got that invite. You know she’s controlling that guest list.”
Unless you are in the Swift-Kelce inner circle, don’t hold your breath waiting for that wedding invitation.
