Tiger Woods Stepping Away From Golf To Seek Treatment After DUI Arrest
Tiger Woods announced he is stepping away from golf for the time being and focusing on his health, following his March 27 DUI arrest. In a statement posted to X on March 31, the 50-year-old spoke out for the first time since the incident, writing, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.” Tiger continued by stating he is committed to taking this time off in order to return in a, quote, “healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally.”
