Tiger Woods’ DUI Arrest: What It Means for His Golfing Future

Tiger Woods is ‘seeking treatment’ after being charged with a DUI following his Florida car crash (he pleaded not guilty).In a new statement on X, the golf pro says, ‘I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery. I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.’

  1. Tiger needs therapy. I believe his trauma is from his childhood. He Father put a lot of pressure on him to be the Best. He also needs a private Doctor to treat him for addiction in his home. He can afford it. He does not have to go into a rehab. He also I’m sure is written prescriptions for pain management. The guy has had tons of back and knee surgeries. But the drinking is not good. Supposed he blew 00. He could not pass the field test. But they found two small white pills on him. He refused urine. Look he will always be one of the best golfers in the world. He and his ex wife have co parented together beautifully for their children. I believe a private addiction Doctor and a good shrink or therapist could really help him. He is a good Man suffering from physical and emotional pain. Let’s all not form cruel opinions on him but pray for his full recovery.
