  1. It's the children who are punished for the training that is handed down for generations. Their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. got away with how they treated their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. These two live the lives they were brought up to live. They stick to how they were raised, instead of finding a new way, a better way, to live. Yes, they should be punished for their crimes. It's just sad that those who raised them, and who are the reason they live how they live, don't also get punished.

I've seen mentions that the Duggar's grandfather, and others in the family line, likes to put his hands on the kids, and he probably touched the two brothers, and the result is that they too become like their grandfather. No one protected them, like they did the others in the family line, and sadly, now they are reaping the punishment that should have come to those before these two were exposed to such sickness.

Again. Yes, they deserve to be punished for what they did. My heart just goes out to the children they once were, who weren't protected/helped when they should have been protected/helped. Those children could have had the chance to mature into decent adults, who never did anything to be punished for. They could be home with their families, living their best lives, had someone protected them when they were children. And, to me, that's also a tragedy. Because damaged children often times, grow up to do damage to other children as well.
