LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – CYPHACON 2026 is making its way back to Lake Charles. The pop culture convention runs from April 10 – 12 and fills the Lake Charles Event Center with celebrity guests, cosplayers, video game enthusiasts, and art vendors. As the largest fan-run pop culture convention in Louisiana, this three-day event transforms the entire Event Center complex into an immersive experience for fans of comics, anime, gaming, film, and more. Attendees can look forward to celebrity guests, cosplay appearances, live performances, and over 110 hours of original panels and programming.
CYPHACON offers something for every fan, including a high-energy cosplay contest, a dynamic gaming arena featuring tabletop and video game tournaments, and an expansive vendor marketplace showcasing artists, makers, and specialty retailers. Families can also enjoy CyPhaKids, a dedicated space for younger attendees to explore interactive, geek-inspired activities.
