Hailee Steinfeld is officially a mom! The Sinners actress recently welcomed her and husband Josh Allen’s first child together and announced the news on her Substack, in a post titled “Special Delivery.”
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” the star wrote in her Beau Society newsletter. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Steinfeld first announced the news of her pregnancy through Beau Society in December. In honor of her 29th birthday, she shared a roundup of the 29 best moments over the past year. The end of the post contained a video that announced her pregnancy—the “Love Myself” singer posed in the snow to show off her baby bump alongside Allen. The football player gave Steinfeld’s stomach a loving kiss.
Steinfeld and Allen then shared the video to their respective Instagram accounts with a joint post. “I love you ❤️,” Allen wrote in the comments section on his wife’s page.
The couple, who tied the knot in May last year, has kept the details of the pregnancy relatively private, but Allen revealed that he was excited to become a father in a January 2026 press conference.
“It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,” he said. “But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to this one.”
Steinfeld also opened up about motherhood in a Beau Society Substack post, sharing that preparing for the baby has changed her mindset.
“While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much,” she wrote. “I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.”
