Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert has been arrested on a charge of second degree attempted murder, according to arrest records in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ebert, 33, also faces a first degree assault charge, and is being held without bond.
The circumstances that led to Ebert’s arrest have not yet been revealed publicly, but the alleged incident took place this past Sunday, an arrest warrant was issued on Monday, March 29th, and a the guitarist was arrested on Tuesday. Ebert is scheduled to make a court appearance later this morning, April 2nd.
Ebert is a co-founding member of Turnstile, but he was ousted from the band in 2022. Following his departure, it was revealed that drummer Daniel Fang had sought a temporary peace order against Ebert in Maryland’s District Court, though the request was ultimately denied for “no statutory basis for relief,” indicating there was insufficient evidence.
