This advice is along the lines of what Elizabeth Gilbert shares in “Big Magic,” which I highly recommend. It’s a book about creative living. One of the big takeaways is that your creativity will look very different if you’re counting on it to keep yourself fed, and it’s healthy to have something different to pay the bills. She kept a full-time job until “Eat, Pray, Love” became a runaway bestseller.

the HR dudes are way younger than me and with this crazy (well deserved) hype they got recently, it’s lovely to see how they seem well balanced and reflective they are on their journey
i hope they have many other great opportunities and a nice support system around them

Finding success in the arts seems difficult. I imagine it can be very competitive and taxing both financially and mentally when things aren’t going the way you hoped, especially when you don’t have backing in the way of nepotism or connections. Respect to those that keep at it
