You know a reality show has become a bona fide hit when the network starts giving it reunions. It took a couple of seasons for the Real Housewives and for the Mormon Wives to get reunions, and, likewise, Jury Duty will get a reunion at the end of its second, Company Retreat-subtitled season. Season one star and season two producer James Marsden will moderate the reunion special for the semi-scripted series, which will see the actors and non-actor/hero Anthony Norman and will feature the “cast’s reflections on their production experience while also treating audiences to never-before-seen footage from the show.” Based on the images Prime Video shared, season one non-actor/hero Ronald Gladden will also be on hand for this event.
In fairness, even if they’re calling it “The Reunion” this time, it doesn’t sound all that different than what we got at the end of season one with the episode “The Verdict,” which brought that season’s hero Richard Gladden behind the curtain and explained to him and the audience how the show was filmed. What does sound especially novel this season, though, will be the episode after “The Reunion,” titled “The Meeting.” This episode will feature a conversation between Norman and Gladden after they meet up in a Los Angeles coffee shop to discuss their experience as the only two people to have lived through this incredibly specific experience. Both of these episodes will arrive on Prime Video on April 10.
