Ah, spring. The cheery season brings with it warmer days, blooming flowers, and new beginnings. It appears Chris Rock, 61, is enjoying the latter, as he hard launched his new relationship in New York City this week.
The Madagascar star was spotted packing on the PDA with a woman identified as Simone Henault on Tuesday, March 31. In photos published by People, the two are seen enjoying a stroll through Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood before kissing on a park bench. A rep for Rock did not immediately respond to InStyle’s request for comment.

Henault is a DJ, creative producer, and content strategist based in Los Angeles, per her Instagram bio. According to her Linkedin, she previously worked at Waze at Google and The Fader.
The pair looked effortlessly cool during their outing, with Rock rocking a black long sleeve, matching cargo pants, a leather newsboy cap, white sneakers, and tinted shades. Henault flexed her sartorial muscles in a white tank top, green cargo pants, black loafers, black-and-white plaid hat, her own tinted shades, and gold jewelry.

The couple were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi last month; they were seen getting into the same car after their meal. Then, Rock wore casual blue jeans, a green shirt, and a black jacket. Henault sported a black halter top, cream-colored pants, and a slicked-back bun.
Rock was previously married to Malaak Compton from 1996 to 2016. They share two daughters, 23-year-old Lola Simone and 21-year-old Savannah Rock. The comedian also dated actress and screenwriter Lake Bell from June 2022 to March 2023.

Rock previously discussed feeling lonely in his 50s while appearing on Kevin Hart’s Peacock series Hart to Heart in 2022. “You’re a 56-year-old bachelor now,” Hart joked to Rock. “Let’s not go there,” Rock laughed in response, adding, “I’m by myself. I’m a lonely man!”
When Hart asked if Rock would consider getting remarried, he replied, “I think I’m good.”
“At some point I’ll have a woman and whatever, and hopefully she’ll be with me for a while, and one day I won’t be able to make it up the steps and I’ll put her in my will. ‘I can’t get up the stairs—somebody get me my will! I gotta put Angie in my will,'” he continued.
