    Vanity Fair editors have done their job! Chole Fineman’s ‘quirky’ pantsing story has been trimmed to hide the age and the circumstances of the 6 year old victim.


    In a previous version of the video Chole Fineman talked about pantsing and exposing the genitals of a 6 year old child, while on a hike, in front of his friends. The video has been trimmed to delete this but has kept the part in where Chole accuses the 6 year old of being a dick.

      A lot of the coverage also excludes how the camper repeatedly tried to lift her shirt up so she did THIS in response. Somehow it makes it more disturbing to me because it suggests that they made it all giggles and pranks. Like what???

      Feel like it’s a little late for editing and it’s gonna be a Streisand effect that’ll bring more awareness to this creepy story….

      Yeah that clip is… weird as hell. I get dark humor but casually admitting you pantsed a 6 year old and then calling him a dick is not “quirky aunt” behavior, it is just messed up. The silent edit afterward is so telling too, like they know it sounds bad but not bad enough to actually apologize for it.

      How old was she when this all went down? Like if she was a dumbass 16 year old camp counselor, would that change things? It’s still inappropriate and an adult should have stepped in and separated them due to the kid’s obsession with lifting her shirt alone. 

      Idk, but I kind of think this is a nothing burger unless she was a whole ass adult when it happened.

      Worth mentioning, cause I only learned when comments on the original vid mentioned it; it’s likely she’s a Scientologist. It sounds like her parents are hardcore and she was born into it. It’s possible she isn’t active or out and proud about it, perhaps she just maintains some public okayness with it so she doesn’t lose contact with fam outright. But like, still. At best, she’s aligned with it all. At worst she’s as batshit crazy as it comes.

      Might explain why she and others at camp are fuckin weird. It’s Xenu Camp. And why she’s the kind of full grown adult who thinks this story is something fun to share.

      I got “pantsed” as a 6 year old by 2 boys I was apparently friends with. On the playground at lunch in front of my whole school. The school didn’t take it seriously even though I was crying my eyes out about it. It took my mum marching into the headteacher’s office and threatening to go to the local paper to get the boys in any sort of trouble. This would’ve been in 2003.

      I have no idea who this woman is but the fact she is bragging and joking about committing COCSA like it’s some quirky fun story, and it just being brushed off and casually edited out without further consequences (it seems like at least) just spits in the face of all the alleged progress we’ve made.

      The age and circumstances of the 6 year old is not the issue here. It is the fact she felt it was acceptable to joke about doing this at her big age. Because a 6 year old might not know better but any adult certainly should. Disgraceful behaviour.

      It makes me feel ill by how many people defended her. It is NOT a silly joke, it is disgusting. No, it doesn’t make her a pedophile, but it does make her a creep. If the genders were swapped, people would be rioting. Gross

      A boy did this to me when I was really young like 5 and it is one of my earliest memories of feeling humiliated and ashamed.

      The way the incident was responded to actually had lasting effects on me that took therapy to help me process.

      So yeah, not really a fun anecdote.
