Today is an excellent reminder for me to be grateful to our heavenly Father God and Jesus Christ that I’m still alive!! I became paralyzed from the neck down on June 7, 2017 @2:36pm practically while driving. I’ve died 5 times since becoming paralyzed 8 1/2 yrs ago. I was in the ICU on a ventilator for 3 1/2 weeks. I had to be on a ventilator because when someone is paralyzed from the neck down, it paralyzes their lungs as well. At the end of those 3 1/2 weeks in the ICU, God restored the use of my lungs. Then 2 1/2 weeks later, God restored the use of my arms. And even though both of my hands themselves are still paralyzed, God granted and He continues to grant me with the ability to use the first two knuckles on my left hand that I use to operate/control my entire iPad as well as voice to text, which I am grateful for. Then just one week later, I died twice within the same week. (just 1-week after God restored the use of my arms) I was in the hospital for 2 1/2 months.
Then in 2018, between January and July of that year, I made 5 attempts on my own life. One of those times ended up stopping my heart and killing me.. that was on July 7, 2018. And my second to last attempt, which if I’m being perfectly honest, should’ve k*lled me in so many ways, but God didn’t let me die that time.. He kept me alive!
I now have a scar that goes from my lower pelvis.. ALL the way up to my sternum. I stabbed myself in the stomach with a 10-inch kitchen knife. I lacerated my liver, one of my kidneys, my pancreas, and I completely severed one of the three main arteries in the lower abdomen, as well as losing 2 1/2 quarts of blood by time I got to the ER.
I should’ve been in the hospital for at least 3-6 months. I was in the hospital for nine days… Not weeks… Not months… DAYS!! God healed my body up enough to go home after just 9 days! I ended up getting 40-staples in my abdomen as well as sufficient bandaging as you can imagine.
Then, the last two times that I’ve died was from a life-threatening infection called Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. I was at home watching TV with my sister (who unfortunately and completely unexpectedly passed on the morning of July 14th of this past year 2024) I was watching TV with her. I was sitting upright in my bed with my sister sitting in a recliner next to me. Then she woke me up because according to her, I kept falling asleep and she had to wake me up over and over. She then called our dad in the room and asked him if I looked okay, he said yes. I went from repeatedly falling asleep, to going in and out of consciousness and blacking out. So then my sister called my mom in the room and asked her the same thing..
My mom then said that I didn’t look okay. And in less than 5 minutes after that, I went from going in and out of consciousness, to being completely unresponsive. My sister then called my gf at the time, and my mom called 911. The ambulance and my gf got there at about the same time which was about 5 minutes after they were called. My body then went septic and my heart stopped for over two hours. This was due to the life-threatening infection called Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. That was on Oct. 13, 2018.
And the last time I died was from the same life-threatening infection. It caused my body to go septic and it stopped my heart in January 2024. And wouldn’t you know it… Each and every single time that I’ve died, God and his precious Son Jesus Christ literally brought me back to life from the dead!
I am grateful for these things, and this is a good reminder that I need to be even more grateful to God our Heavenly Father and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If you haven’t made the decision to follow Jesus and make him your personal Lord and Savior, who gave His life on the cross so that we could repent, which means to turn from our sinful ways and turn back to God, And to have a personal relationship with Jesus and be forgiven for our sins and be saved from eternal condemnation; and to instead receive Jesus’ free gift of salvation which is what we receive by giving our lives to Jesus and being able to be in heaven with Jesus for all eternity when our times come, and know the Lord’s pure love, joy, happiness, and His peace!
If you believe in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and believe that He died for our sins and if you repent for your sins, and have a personal relationship with Him that’s the only way to heaven.
Repeat the following below to accept Jesus into your hearts and lives:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I’m a sinner.. I repent for all of my sins and I ask and I pray for You to please forgive me of my sins. I confess with my mouth and I believe in my heart that you (Jesus Christ) willingly died and gave up your life on the cross, so that I/we could be forgiven. I also confess and believe in my heart that God our heavenly Father raised you from the dead and brought you back to life on the third day, three days after you gave up your life on the cross for our sins. Lord Jesus, I ask you to please come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. I make You my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name amen!

that's cool man. I'm agnostic so obviously not 100% into books but it takes some balls…or ovaries in this age to say you are christian. christians constantly get hate just for existing and that's kinda messed up.
