I wish I could listen to Kanye. His music was so incredibly important to me for decades. Hell, I own a fair amount of it on physical media, meaning he wouldn’t get a dime if I played it that way. But it’s not just about the money. The shit he has said and done is foul, and it’s gonna take a lot for him to even approach something resembling redemption.
No, what matters most is that your dollars are enriching a colossal piece of shit, and further empowering him to spread vile nonsense.

It’s disheartening to see some of the statements made. Politics is an unavoidable aspect of our lives, regardless of our personal involvement. The remarks made by this individual are deeply troubling. I won’t be supporting his views or actions. It’s time for him to step back and reflect on his words and leave us alone
I don’t care for these men’s takes personally, but I do think there is something to be said about Kanye’s mental spiral and how whether there is a right way to go about acknowledging that.
He is/was unquestionably ill. Clearly it was never a ploy to sell records or publicity (entirely), we saw how it clearly disrupted his personal life with his wife and kids. You can say it’s not fair to let his behavior not impact his career now, and I’d mostly agree, but it would impact it more if he wasn’t such a generational talent. Kanye’s discography any production ability is unrivaled, and his apology in the WSJ was definitely a more solid and honest statement from him than we’d ever seen. In my opinion (as someone not totally a fan), i do find it somewhat compelling to see him succeed after the fact.
There are no sides to believe. He said what he said. I’d rather these people just admit they have no issue with what he said, than pretending someone might have made it up.

About a year ago, Kayne West spoke of an >!< he had with a cousin. He never stated the age gap between them, but it started when his cousin was 6 years old and ended when Kayne was 14.
