OPEN THE WATCH.
Not a quartz movement. Fakes tick about 5 times per second while the real ticks about 7 times per second. You can buy a $500 fake and won't be able to tell the difference unless you open the back and inspect the movement with a microscope. Some crazy fakes even use real gold cases and bands.
