I think what he should’ve done was Fire the cheapest staff and promote her, but tell her you will come to me privately if there’s an issue and never ever do it in front of the staff or public. I also disagree in that he’s not supposed to talk to every Joe Schmoe which I assume means the public who comes in – that’s what his job is.
It is in fact a fire hazards that anyone with common sense would know about. Do not remove it unless you magically believe you outrank the fire marshal. 😂
