Megan Thee Stallion Rushed to Hospital During Moulin Rouge Performance | E! News

Megan Thee Stallion had a medical emergency. The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper was rushed to the hospital after falling sick in the middle of her March 31 performance in the Broadway production of ‘Moulin Rouge! the Musical.’ “During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” Megan’s rep told Complex in a statement. “We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.” News of Megan’s hospitalization comes just days after her big Broadway debut, playing nightclub owner Zidler in the stage adaptation of the 2001 Baz Luhrmann movie starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. The character was originally portrayed by Jim Broadbent. Megan took over the reins from Bob the Drag Queen, who finished his theater run as Zidler on March 22.
