As a 30 year educator and child councilor who understands child psychology very well, it is very normal for children to essentially act like a “baby bird” for kisses. This child is clearly very close to mama and doesn’t have a full time nanny or governess. She has a MAMA!
People are disgustingly SICK! Who in their right mind would critique such a touching and loving moment?! The same people who chastise this behavior are the same people who are bitter, mad at the world, and with nothing better to do! Mind your business!
I have never liked it when parents and other adults kiss their kids on the lips. It's gross. Adults be doing nasty stuff with their mouths. Oral sex. Some people kiss their pets in the mouth 🤢🤢🤢. Yuck. And breastfeeding feels like incest to me. A woman's breast has been licked and sucked on by a man or whoever else. And when the woman is pregnant and gives birth and decides to breast feed their babies. 🤮🤮🤮
People that make statements like that are the problem.. thats just a mom with her child.. moms are the only ones that should be kissing their children on the mouth.. My mother was affectionate like this with my sister and I both, and she was an amazing mom when we were kids..
I also think this is a really sweet moment! I'm a mom of a 6-year-old boy. My husband and I still do kisses with him. Everybody turns it into something outrageous, uh wake up everyone! There are far worse things than parents kissing their own kids. Plus the kids don't see anything wrong.
Sue, if you watch old movies…and I am a buff…you will see how kids were kissed 90 years ago. One example from last night…is Andy Hardy Movies w Mickey Rooney.
No, its not f*cking weird. Why is it when truly inappropriate things happen, people make excuses? But a mom kissing her daughter and we're losing it. Crazy. My adult and nearly adult sons crawl into my bed when they have nightmares. Or get dumped Or cheated on.
There are situations like this across the world where one way of doing things in one culture is not accepted or appropriate in an other. I don't kiss my parents feet, nor do I nose press to greet them. I think the fact that she is expressing love for her child and the child is happy should be enough. Would I personally do this, no, but again, not my culture.
I used to kiss my mom and my grandma like that. I don't see anything inappropriate. If you think that's inappropriate, don't kiss your children like that.
Also, I've only done that with my grandma and mom; I was never confused about doing this with other people.
Well, her kiss did linger for too long. I occasionally get/give my daughter a peck on the mouth, but it's literally a peck. This lingered TBH and does look a bit disturbing.

Im 42 and I have a 22 yr old daughter and 6yr old son and almost 2 yr old son as well. But when I was young we did that. And I still do it to my kids.

My son is 5 and sometimes ask me for a kiss like a tap idk what the problem is ? Maybe cuz the child mouth was wide open like that idk
