      I respect her donations but I wish she would think past neoliberal philanthropy, e.g. universities and education. These are all necessary but evil right wingers are swallowing up media institutions, housing, politics. (See her ex husband dismantling the Washington Post.) I would really like to her put money towards fighting right wing corporate influence in media and politics, help build more housing, etc.

      I miss the good old days when the disgustingly rich actually used their money for philanthropy.

      Carnegie built over 2000 libraries and of course Carnegie Hall.

      She’s worth what, 30 billion? So that is in fact a sizable chunk of her fortune. Guess you can’t hate her all that much. I mean, fuck all billionaires, but her less so.
