    1. there are a few theories on why marilyn walked that way. i recently heard she would cut down the heel on one shoe, lol. personally, i think her skirts were super narrow and she exaggerated it for effect.

    2. So… Hi Mr/Mrs AI, no, it's not any of that. Pencil skirts are hard to walk in when they're hugging every inch of your curves, AND being on camera in the constant, whether a movie set or real life would make anyone self conscious to start with! Geez ..

    3. Some say it was the shoes, some say if was the knees, some the skirts (which are pretty hard to walk in). Others still say she invented the "tightrope walk" wherein you walk putting one foot directly in front of the other and shifting your weight accordingly, causing your hips to sway naturally. The latter, of course, being the most savvy and flattering reason.

    4. This is ridiculous. When you're knees touch each other it's called having Knock Knees (Genu Valgum) and it shouldn't be glorified as Marilyn's biggest physical secret. Glorify Marilyn for her outstanding acting ability. During an interview, Marilyn commented that she believed men often depersonalized her and viewed her only for her sexuality and now in death, people are doing the same thing.

    5. Utter B.S. She created that walk like she created Marilyn. Did not have one heal cut shorter, did not talk in that breathless manner naturally. Marilyn admitted Norma Jean created Marilyn.
