Country music legend Ray Stevens shared he was admitted to the hospital after breaking his neck during a serious fall. The Grammy winner, 87, was advised by doctors to wear a neck brace for “approximately four weeks,” a statement shared to his Instagram April 7 read of his recovery, noting that he’s currently “recovering at home.” The statement continued, “Despite the injury, he remains fully mobile and in good spirits as he continues his recovery.” Following news of Ray’s injury, fans took time to wish him a swift healing process. “So sorry to hear that! Praying for a speedy recovery Ray!” one user wrote in the comments section of the post, while another added, “Woah!! Hopefully they won't make him go on tour with his neck brace. I hear that it's hard to get a loa in the industry. TBOZ was battling her sickle cell illness and she was still forced to perform. I think it was frank Sinatra or John Wayne who was pushed in a wheel chair on stage still performing due to contractual obligations.
