This always looked like grow out to me. I never understood this trend.
Maybe I’m dating myself but a good ombré/balayage is such a good look. I remember taking that photo of Drew into a hair salon when I was transitioning from lifelong honey blonde foils to my natural brunette.
Some look good with the ombré, others I like different shades better. Megan Fox looks so good with darker hair, imho. Dark brunette or black colored hair looks so good on her. Idk how I feel about the ombré on her 😭. Also it’s silly but I never considered Jason Momoa (Aquaman) had dyed part of it, he looks good regardless though, he’s one of the coolest.
This is now a top Drew Barrymore hair & makeup moment for me. She looks incredible.
That might have been Beyoncé’s best hair.

drew’s ombré was perfection. i took a slightly darker version pic of her into the stylist when i got ombré done some years ago, turned out so good. rip fun hair.

I have an ombré with my strawberry blonde hair and it’s the best look for me I swear. I love me ombres and balayage!!
i miss this, but frankly… my hair still looks like this 🙈 i get compliments all the time and it’s so low maintenance. looks like drew’s.
It’s outdated but I still like the look. In different colours too I always think it looks nice as long as they do a good job with the gradient.
I remember trying to do this at home and completely frying my ends.

Rihanna’s is definitely balayage not ombré, but the rest are for sure ombré.. and some are sooo harsh and/or just growing out old bleach
I think that’s Jason Momoa’s natural hair color. I think the sun just makes it blonde.

I didn’t like this look when it was more of the dip dye with the harsh line between the shades than an ombre with a nice blend between the colours. Like I much prefer Rihanna’s and Drew’s to the first look.
I know this is about hair, but wow Olivia Wilde’s eyes look gorgeous with that makeup and dress color.
I did love the ombre on other people, but to keep it looking nice it definitely required maintenance to not look like a grow out (which is sadly what I usually rock these days).
I don’t care if it ages me I still think a well done ombré is fire
