not me crying at this 😭 I feel him so much – im working trying to get rid of 100k education debt between me and my mom and have a pit in my stomach about it everyday. I’m hoping it happens for me too. Financial freedom (emphasis on fucking FREEDOM) is the name of the game fr.

I read the Cultured mag interview, where does it say he was crying? I only saw the crying part from Variety, which is summarizing the interview.

I totally feel this. I paid of my six figure law school loans last year and I was EUPHORIC. Like a boot off my neck.

  4. Isn’t it funny how good life can feel when you have the opportunity and the means to pay off debt and not scramble to barely get by. This is how life is supposed to be for all of us. We’re not failing, we’re not incompetent nor stupid, the system is rigged. Life is truly hard.

Imagine when stars of Emmy awarded shows are breaking down in tears for being able to pay off student debt. Not fot buying a fancy car nor a mansion. What hope is left for an average Joe who’s not going to be casted in a popular show?

No shade on Patrick, delighted for him and thankful that he’s keeping it real.

A now he’s also starring in Becky Shaw along side my cousin Maddie Brewer. I’ll take the 7 degrees.

I’m so sorry but I have to say this. I get distracted every time he appears on scenes in The Pitt. He’s so handsome! lmao

“they’d bring me into Blackrock and Blackstone and Goldman Sachs, and they would want to teach these young administrators how to have difficult conversations, à la how to fire somebody” ….. That’s so fucking bleak

  8. Now if we can just get every other US college grad from 2000 onward to also get a recurring role on *The Pitt*, we’re really going to turn things around.

  9. Paying off my 60k of student loans is one of the proudest moments of my life. It changed everything for me

So fucking relatable. Good for him. I too am going to get on the Pitt to solve my student loans.

I love that he talked so openly about this. It’s one of the very real problems that nearly every person who has gone to college has had to deal with. I got lucky and was able to get through college without debt by being poor af and getting the appropriate funding and then paying out of pocket my last year. So many people fall on the line where they can’t get the funding and have to pay all the way through and when they can’t…loans or no school. It’s such a shame, this system is so effed up.

  12. God please bring these kind of blessings into my and everyone reading this who’s having a hard time’s life 😭🩷

  13. I’m def dying with my debt!! But 6 months ago I got a promotion that came with a 50k a year raise and…it’s nice to just be comfortable

    > So I have been fired more than anyone you’ve ever met, I promise you. I’ve been fired thousands of times.

Renewed my energy to apply for jobs.* 😂

    ^*Tomorrow.

  15. The one upside of never finishing college is I barely had any debt and my dad split it with me when I was 19 so that it wouldn’t compound while we were waiting for me to able to afford it on my own.

  16. I was very lucky to pay off my student loans a few years ago, but never told anyone beyond my immediate family because it felt like an insensitive brag. Student loan debt needs to be forgiven ASAP.

I FEEL THIS! good on him. hoping I get a job so I can do this too lol!

Good for him. It’s a great feeling.

But damn, I’m a real doctor with nearly $400k in student debt.
