It's not talked about but most pistol cartridges of the cowboy days were 140-200 grains of soft lead for 38 caliber and fired at well under 1000fps. Typically a 180gr 38cal would be going around 750fps. They really weren't that scary unless placed in the vitals or head. By comparison, a modern 9mm weighs 124gr and travels around 1100fps.
The fact they were able to pull out the bullet means he's got a pretty good chance at healing without too much of an infection, but it's still a risk. The old captain who got grazed on the head, that was a lot more concerning. Still really lucky.
These two actors could absolutely be cast as Aurthor and Dutch from rdr2. Very similar to the roles they play in this clip(I haven't watched this serious). Honestly if someone told me this was a clip from a rdr2 live action movie, I'd be excited.

O7. 11BRAVO CIB mosul '04
If only I could catch one.
What. ?
Is that the guy from ghost rider
i hate to admit it but in terms of cinema the usa might be number one
So he gave his son the bullet and the kid played with lead for the rest of his life?
He didn't wash his hands. No disinfectant required back then or tetanus shots
You can see the hole in his hat in frame as he says, "I can squeeze it out." Nice.
3 men took 5 shots and they’re all non fatal. Either they’re in a gunfight with blind men or plot armor is thicker than Kevlar.
I need to watch this. Whats it called?
What do you mean It didn't kill him ,once it's infected he's fucked.. theres no antibiotics at that time
I thought they was pulling a Baelor. “I need good Cowpoke, partner. The West….” Then He takes off the hat with a bullet hole through it

1883 was such a good series
Sam Eliot must be the only mf to wear cowboy hats for so long yet kept that hairline intact like he's still in his 20s
For those who don't know, he did in fact NOT GET GRAZED. There are 2 bullet holes in his hat and head. Entrance/exit
I thought it was a game at first
He having pain in the *ss
Idk why but the way that his mouth doesn't move at all when he says "I didn't get hit" cracks me up 😂
What movie?
Good Lord, if this guy didn't have nine lives
"Gon have one hell of a headache."
Well,….
"First rounds on me!"
Squeezing a bullet out of his ass cheek, thats about all the broke back you're getting outta him.
"Well, that ain't good"
Im not sure sure a close up shot of those perfect and perfectly white teeth was the best idea when the actor is all dirty and grimey
bullets were way weaker in general back then and they hadn't figured out that lighter, faster bullets are more lethal
Grazed off his scalp. Now thats one way to burn up all your luck.

WE are NOT physical beings. Our bodies are the RESULT of what we actually are, which is nothing in THIS dimension.
Walking up to that would be awkward
What show is this?
There was apparently a ton of black guys in the old west
Great series 💯 pricks the heat of anyone watching 🙏
