My number one combination is still Lady Gaga and June Brown. Truly two worlds colliding.
One of my favourite episodes is the Miranda Hart, Adele and Jack Whitehall one. Which should also show you how long it’s been since I watchdd if
It’s funny that he says that these types of people don’t usually mix, but they’re all type of people who are regulars at Vanity Fair parties and Met Galas.
(speaking of US celebs)
Long story short, they’re contracted to appear on the show as a form of press. Not sure why we’re still asking these questions in 2026 lol
The episode where the two Irish brothers (the O’Donovans) who’d won rowing gold were on along with Marion Cotillard. God bless her she did not understand a word they said, and her wide panicked eyes as she tried to react to their stories based wholly of tone and everyone else’s response killed me.
Or the one with Olivia Colman and Jack Whitehall, and June Brown. He’s such a brilliant host.
Fucking love Graham Norton.
Loved the bizarre combo of J-LO and Freddie Flintoff trying to explain cricket 🤣
Will always remember Graham Norton for being in Father Ted

My favorite interview from him is when he interviewed Chris Hemsworth. Chris Hemsworth talked about how he was being heckled in prison while doing some research
My all time favourite episode will always be the one with Miriam Margolyes, will.i.am and Greg Davies. Such a random group of celebrities that couldn’t have been more different from each other. An actress, a popstar and a comedian walk into a studio and create some of the funniest tv I’ve ever seen.
Yall are talking about random pairings but no one can ever beat will.i.am and Miriam Margolyes.
They were not only random but they had great chemistry!
What’s this from anyone got a link to the video?
While talk shows, by their nature, rarely if ever are truly “loose” I do appreciate how often Norton and his guests come off as such. When it’s just people swapping stories and laughs like they’re at a bar or a bbq or whatever, it feels a lot more natural than the rigid, 1to1 that American shows default to.
I also want to thank Graham Norton for bringing Robbie Williams into my life. Not so much for his music, mind you – though he has his share of bops + memorable videos – but for how goddamn hysterical the guy is, when doing press.
Any episode where Miriam Margolyes is on is my favourite. God did well forgetting to put a filter into that woman
The one with Greg Davies and Ryan Gosling comes to mind! Hilarious!
i wish he was the guy who hosted the Friends reunion but i guess they also picked the host based on… who’s around
Proper chat show
My favourite episode is when the Monuments Men, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and Hugh Bonneville, came straight to the show from th premiere, and Paloma Faith was the musical guest.
There was clearly a drinking competition going on using the bubbly (Hugh had a water glass whilst Matt and Bill had champagne flutes which all three were necking from when one of them drank from theirs), Matt was drunk, Hugh leaving to take a piss… I watched that episode 3 or 4 times that week because it was so funny!
The only but not good bits were how Bill behaved around Paloma but she handled him with aplomb, whilst also showing up his behaviour.
George Clooney came on a week or so later, during which he apologised for their behaviour…
My most favourite episodes are the ones with Lewis Capaldi, man is HILARIOUS
[the best of Olivia Coleman](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9fLdvRRsSqU&pp=ygUbb2xpdmlhIGNvbG1hbiBncmFoYW0gbm9ydG9u). I watch when I need a pick me up.
He manages to entertain so kudos
Graham Norton is the best and he’s never allowed to retire! I won’t allow it!
Seth Meyers has an interview about this. Or maybe the drunk host. Either way, he mentions that sometimes their best bet is whoever is in the building or nearby. That going on tv and doing interviews isn’t as important in promotions.
