Coleen Rooney promised she would celebrate in style and she has another day out to celebrate her milestone birthday, this time with Wayne Rooney at the races

Coleen is continuing her 40th birthday celebrations
Coleen Rooney is enjoying another birthday celebration a week after turning 40 – with a day partying at the Grand National with husband Wayne.
The fashion designer, TV star and wife of ex-footballer Wayne, arrived at Aintree Racecourse with her husband in her trademark glamourous style. She was wearing a long cream dress, while Wayne smartened up in a suit.
It appears no expense has been spared and a source inside the venue tells The Mirror: “Coleen and Wayne have a special box in the Princess Royal Stand, the door is being guarded by two waitresses with security appearing on the balcony. “Inside the box there are tables with big clear balloons with ‘Coleen x’ printed across them. Her return to Aintree has certainly had a shroud of secrecy around it. In an attempt to ensure she has privacy, her box in the Princess royal stand is unnamed – unliked the others.”

The couple will spend the afternoon with thousands of others watching Britain’s most famous and prestigious jumps race of the year.
“Everyone in the stand below is unaware that Coleen has made her return to Aintree. She even tried to throw fans off the scent last night, as she posted pictures from her recent ski holiday – implying she was still away.”
Coleen and Wayne meet as teenagers and married in 2008 and although they have had their ups and downs, their relationship is still holding firm as they survived a number of the former Manchester United star’s high-profile mistakes.
Onlookers at Aintree saw the pair look ‘happy and cosy’ together as they watched the race together.
Coleen has previously attended with female friends but she broke with tradition this year to attend with her husband. Last week Wayne marked her special day with memories from over the past few decades, with their four sons Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, 10, and eight-year-old Cass appearing in a photo tribute he shared to Instagram.
It is the latest celebration for Coleen as she turned 40, and in the lead up to the milestone she had vowed to have more than one celebration.Last week Coleen held a big party at her mansion on Good Friday and was joined by a host of celebrities including Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher. As well as Coleen’s WAG pals, Annie Kilner and Abbey Clancy Phil Jones and his wife Kaya Hall, Leanne Brown and Tanya and Phil Bardsley
Last month she told OK! Magazine: “I love birthdays and a celebration. I have decided to enjoy a couple of different celebrations with family and friends over the year and with my birthday falling over Easter weekend, some friends are away so any opportunity to extend the celebrations!”
Coleen is no stranger to going to the racing and in her younger days it used to be a yearly event to come to Aintree during the Grand National festival
At the time her regular appearances led to her earning the moniker the Queen of Aintree long before people saw her as Queen of the jungle when she appeared in I’m A Celebrity.
She also presented the best dressed racegoer award for several years in a row from 2006 onwards on Ladies’ Day.

But she has not been to the racing as often in recent years and fans will be delighted to see her back at the course for a milestone birthday day out.
Other celebrities have already been to the Grand National festival this week including stars of Coronation Street and Emmerdale and former footballers like Michael Owen and Ian Rush.
Despite having a number of birthday celebrations it has been a busy start to the year for Coleen workwise as well.

In March she launched her Primark clothing collection including a party in Mayfair, London with guests including TOWIE star Jess Wright, presenter Ashley James, TV star Scarlett Moffatt, former model Danielle Lloyd, and Love Island contestant Gabby Allen.
She also launched a new Applied Nutrition product with an event in February which included lunch and a pilates sessions with pals including including Lisa Carrick, wife of Manchester United manager Michael, Tanya Bardsley, Georgina Cleverly, and pregnant Annie Kilner the wife of Kyle Walker.
It’s thought she and Wayne along with their four sons are being filmed for a new reality TV series, which will be released later in the year.
