Justin Berfield chats with ET’s Emily Curl at the premiere of ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair,’ streaming April 10 on Hulu and Disney+. The star, who returns as Malcolm’s brother, Reese, in the revival, explains how Bryan Cranston pushed for the fictional family’s TV return, 20 years after the original series ended.

When I look at the actor who plays Reese, he doesn't really look like Reese. But then he starts to talk, and his mannerisms and voice bring back Reese's memories.

I watched it online so they cut out credits but I’m genuinely curious on what they were going for especially if this was a limited series with no other seasons.
They gave Stevie a mental disorder for some reason, I really don't understand why, but I turned it off immediately when I saw what they did

Reese is still my favorite character in the entire show since the original Malcolm in the Middle 2000s

C’est une mini-série de seulement 4 épisodes, et Linwood Boomer (Lidood) l’a répété plusieurs fois : y’a aucun plan concret pour une saison complète pour l’instant. Tout dépendra des chiffres de visionnage sur Disney+/Hulu dans les 2-3 prochaines semaines. Si ça fait un score monstrueux, ils en reparleront, sinon… bah ça restera une belle parenthèse nostalgique.Les critiques sont globalement correctes (autour de 80 % sur Rotten Tomatoes, « Certified Fresh » mais pas exceptionnel), mais y’a un peu de mixité : certains trouvent ça fidèle et drôle, d’autres disent que c’est plus « doux-amer » ou nostalgique que vraiment explosif comme avant. L’audience score commence à peine à arriver, on verra ce que les vrais fans en pensent une fois qu’ils auront tout binge.Perso, même si je croise les doigts pour que Leah (la fille de Malcolm) porte quelque chose de plus grand, je reste réaliste : les agendas des acteurs (surtout Cranston) sont blindés, lidwood va crever d'une minute a l'autre et Disney ne commande pas une vraie saison sur un coup de tête.
Si tu mates, dis-moi franchement ce que t’en penses après 1 ou 2 épisodes, sans filtre. Est-ce que le chaos Wilkerson te fait toujours marrer ou c’est un peu « ça fait plaisir mais ça passe pas vraiment » ?On verra bien, en tout cas. Pas de faux espoirs, juste du réalisme T’en dis quoi toi, tu penses que ça va faire un buzz suffisant ou pas ?

Straight up the best revival reunion show ever put together you guys did such a good job almost everybody was there or represented in some way you guys caught the feel of the old show amazingly the new additions fit in great make more if you guys could make more you'd bring back nostalgia like unbelievable from the early 2000s and Love you guys
