“He reached out my agency and told [me], ‘I wrote a show based on your photos. Will you direct it?'” she said according to screenshots of the interview, which was translated from Hungarian to English. She claimed she worked for HBO for approximately five months under the impression that she would be directing the series.

“I created a whole world for it, I did the casting, whatever, and [at] the last minute HBO was like, ‘We are not hiring you because you are too young,'” she alleged.

A year later, she saw a billboard for the show that she said looked like “a copy of my work.”

There has never been a show beyond great art direction and great casting. That’s all it ever was.

He is a creep and needs to go away for sure. Seems like after s3, it will finally happen.

And HBO is a sus company cuz this is the second time they used female director for development and then fired her.

Deeply appreciate you posting this. She also said that she had to change her photography aesthetic because she would always get compared to the show and she would struggle to get work
