  1. He showed up like a kindergartener that dressed himself for school in a hoodie, shorts and rain boots…

I’ve been seeing nothing but praise for his performance. People calling it genius etc. I couldn’t imagine spending over $1500 for that performance. Knowing he got paid $8-$10 million.

If any woman tried that, the reactions would be vastly different.

I appreciate how honest and outspoken Zara is. I can only assume the amount of backlash she’s going to receive for it.

bruh I thought he was atleast showing clips of himself are you telling me he actually WAS just showing old af memes

  4. Every time I see a post about her, I like her more. I’ve never gotten around to listening to her songs except Pretty Ugly. Any recommendations?

Edit: thanks the suggestions! Looking them all up later.

  5. I kind of get why he would want to do something like this but not at Coachella. This is something he should’ve done at a smaller, more intimate venue with a bunch of his really dedicated fans who can appreciate how far he’s come since his YouTube days.

I love how she speaks her mind and doesn’t care what people say it’s so refreshing 😭😭😭. Because yes let’s talk about that Coachella performance (if you can even call what he did a performance)

In the words of Katy Perry “atleast he had yt premium” 😂😂😂

It’s so rare to see a pop star say what everyone else is thinking. I love her

I’ve gotten in trouble for this.

“I can do that I my house!”

    I have learned my lesson.

Lmao I love her. Its true. Some of these artists fucking hate being famous and they do shit like this strictly because they can. There is nothing iconic about this. Seeing people who went to Coachella praise this is so worrying

If Gaga, Beyoncé, or any other major female artist did karaoke on a rooftop….

It kinda makes those rumors about the Coachella organizers paying SZA to clear her schedule in case Justin pulled out of his headlining spot make more sense.

  13. The amount of posts I have seen praising him for… singing. As a singer.

    This new gen is cooked.

“It must be nice to be a man, and make boring music, just because you can.”

I’m honestly still in shock at this. I just can’t imagine anyone that loves their craft and respects what it means to perform live doing this. Like at this point I’m just really curious as to WHY. If it’s about saving money on production then there are still other avenues to go into.

  16. I would be so disappointed if any of my favorite artists pulled what Justin did.

What’s crazy is this is what white men can get away with, and beyonxe put so much effort into her Coachella performance.

I watched it at home and I was getting annoyed. I cannot imagine being there live. I would be so angry that I spent thousands and waited outside in that heat, in festival conditions(!), for this type of performance.

Coachella needs to be held accountable for allowing this type of set. The festival organizers were working alongside him and his team and they really allowed Justin to go out there and give nothing knowing that people would be angry because they specifically bought tickets to see him!

The enshitification of everything has now infiltrated multi million dollar festival sets. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Free Luigi.

  19. It’s so true!!

Such a boring and lazy performance.

If he was healing for him, that’s great. Love that for him.

But damn, I couldn’t imagine spending all that money just to watch YouTube videos.

I don’t know any of her songs but I’m damn well going to give them a shot, what a fucking bad bitch. I love her.

While I did enjoy the YouTube part of his performance, I also watched from the comfort of my home, for free. It was silly and nostalgic.

I definitely understand that this was crappy of him to do to the production team and the guest artists who came out and most of all the folks who paid to attend last night.

It was definitely giving “let’s smoke and watch YouTube” energy.

I’m not a ‘Belieber,’ and I only saw clips of the laptop part of the performance, but it actually made me sad. The contrast between his young, ‘baby’ voice and his adult voice was emotional to me because it made me think about everything the industry has put him through, especially considering his recent confrontation with Usher. It makes me wonder what he actually witnessed and endured behind the scenes. Does he even enjoy performing anymore, or is he just doing it to pay back Scooter Braun?
