    Are you kidding me?
That last line is making me angry and I’m not even a casual Chappell Roan listener.

He’s a dumbass, his wife is a dumbass, and so is everyone on social media who believed them.

Not entirely the point here but I hate that posting IG stories to clear things up has become the norm. It won’t kill you to post that statement to your grid instead of letting it expire after 24 hours.

  4. All they had to do was speak with Chappell and see what was up or even just ask the bodyguard himself, but they wanted clout and cancellation based off his wifes perceived slight. They deserve the backlash they tried to give Chappell, but unfortunately that won’t happen.

Only thing they accomplished is re-traumatizing their daughter on a global scale this time.

“As far as I’m concerned, this matter is closed” GIVE! ME! A! BREAK! you got that poor woman banned from a major city on top of a barrage of online abuse for a situation that didn’t even really involve her. You couldn’t do all this reaching out, team-to-team conversations BEFORE you posted to your millions of followers?

    Boy bye

  6. “I protected my family”

How was siccing your fans and the internet on a lesbian you knew had gotten a lot of grief for expecting people to stop acting entitled to her protecting your family, exactly?

  7. I hope all those gossip blogs post this – DEUX MOI – they wont though, damage already done and Chappell’s forever getting this crazy ‘child beater’ ‘hates her fans’ narrative. Also why did it take this long, my god.

WHAT? So he actively saw her being dragged through the media for weeks and now is going to speak up? 😭😭😭

fuck this guy, so he basically started a hate train towards her and didnt even apologize. and only corrected the shit weeks later when the damn story is off the media cycle.

This isn’t nearly enough. Honestly, I don’t know what would be, but if I was Chappell this would enrage me beyond belief. To inspire so much hate and vitriol towards her, just to say WEEKS later that she had nothing to do with it, not actually say the words “I am sorry” and then end it with “this matter is closed 🤍” yeah hell isn’t hot enough

He did not react like “any father would” he was reactive and hot headed and he went for CR without having any details other than what his family reported. Making a huge deal about a security guard scolding his child when there are much more important things going on in the world is peak privilege. After CR made a statement that she had no knowledge of the incident and the security guard did but work for her the mother of the child continues to speak about CR in a disparaging way. Both of the parents of this child owe CR a real apology, not just this bare minimum post to set the record straight. The mayor who made the statement should also issue an apology. They all look like absolute fools.
