‘Percy Jackson’ star Walker Scobell skips prom because of death threats
“Percy Jackson and the Olympians” star Walker Scobell has shared that he will be skipping his high school prom because many of his prospective dates have received death threats from obsessive fans. ”Just to let everyone know, I will not be attending prom,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories on Sunday. ”Please stop sending death threats to every teenage girl who could remotely be associated with me based on their proximity to where I live. It’s not fair to them or to their families.”

Grow a pair!!!
Unhinged.
So sad
I feel so bad for Walker and the girls especially. No one should have to go through this.
i felt so bad :(((
I have my junior prom next week and am haunted by this now. This is devastating. It’s not all about the prom part which is sad but the whole situation is even sadder. These are teen girls just like me. Minors who are now fearful for their lives over something they can’t control. Walker puts himself out there by doing what he loves and this is what he gets in return?? Very sickening the world is like this. I’ve followed his career for years since the Adam Project and he’s inspired my passion for film production and acting myself which I plan to major in college soon. I am with all of those teen girls and hope they are doing alright as someone who suffers from depression if I got a death threat a couple months ago I would most likely not be here right now. Think about the consequences of your actions on others before you act pleaseeee!
