For those unfamiliar, Geese is an indie rock band that every pretentious publication has basically hailed as the next great band; their latest album got genuinely glowing reviews.
Cameron Winter is the lead singer, polarizing voice but a really good musician. I would describe him as immensely Brooklyn.
Incidentally, yesterday an article came out in Wired saying how much of the glowing praise and “hype train” around Geese last fall was actually a carefully orchestrated marketing campaign (“psy-op”) using thousands of fake bots to comment on Twitter, Reddit, etc…
