Katie Couric shuts down Kristin Chenoweth’s “unpopular question.” The COVID vaccine is NOT leading to an increase in cancers among people under 50.

  1. Sure, you “definitely vaccine”. Glad Katie Couric shut that shit down. Go back to mourning Charlie Kirk, Kristin.

Good to see this clarified health misinformation spreads way too easily these days.

  3. Thank you for your concern, Dr. Chenoweth

I mean i def vaccine but let me spread a conspiracy theory nonetheless!

  4. Did You Know? Ariana Grande originated the role of Galinda in Wicked. There were no others before her. Nope. Not one actress.

Kristin needs to get off social media before she Roseanne’s herself.

kristin chenoweth is addicted to being manipulated by right wing grifters lmfao

  6. PurchaseDry9350 on

With this and the Charlie kirk admiration, she’s going down a bad track. She also followed Candace Owens, I’m not sure if she still does. Edit: She does

Oh, Kristin, you’re hiding behind “I’m just asking questions!” but I see what you’re really doing.

  8. Status_Apartment6559 on

Might as well blame fucking squirrels WITHOUT ANY DAMN EVIDENCE. Who does she think she is RFK jr?

  9. innocentsalad on

I mean Covid clearly impacted Chenoweth’s brain and made her incapable of a W so she should definitely be concerned

  10. Mind you, being skeptical is totally fair and valid! It’s okay for Kristen to question things.

It’s not okay for her to do the questioning out loud, with clearly 0 research to back her, when she has such a big following that could be harmed by believing her.

I’m no scientist, but isn’t it common knowledge that obesity increases cancer risk, and that more people are obese nowadays? If I had to guess (and nobody asked me to, just like nobody asked Chenowith to) I’d assume that instead of a vaccine.

Dupont, pfoa forever chemicals. Teflon. Still happening, loosened regulations.

Always so quick to point fingers at the vaccine, but never at the novel pathogen everyone’s just been getting over and over for years. To be clear I’m not saying the ‘vid caused it either, it’s just whack that people jump to blame a highly studied and regulated vaccine instead of, y’know, a virus that’s entire purpose is to f up the human body.

Okay but hear me out, there are some probably toeing the line anti science people who might follow what Kristen Chenowith asks in good faith, see this smack down, and start to question some beliefs. We can hope.

Ah man, I really liked her and Im not someone who can separate art and the artist. I can never rewatch Pushing Daisies now.

And anyone that pays attention knows Katie is talking about the increase in colon cancer due to overconsumption of processed foods!!

  17. Ambitious_Egg9713 on

Cancer rates among young people have skyrocketed even before the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve personally known several individuals who were diagnosed with various cancers before the age of 35, which is truly astonishing. In contrast, my parents, who belong to the baby boomer generation, didn’t come across anyone with cancer until their 50s or 60s, which is quite remarkable.

  18. There is an increase of the number of billionaires and increase of cancers among people under 50. So….

  19. Deli meats seem to be a huge contributor to the rise in colorectal cancers. That actually makes sense, and is backed by a lot of evidence and research

Blaming a vaccine for everything, with no evidence, is stupid

  20. Alternative-Zone4503 on

It’s the continuous consumption of carcinogenic crap that is leading to the increase in cancer cases. That and the stress of being in a shitty marriage.

  21. AtTheEndOfMyTrope on

Didn’t some promising research emerge recently? One with findings that suggest microplastics could be a contributing cause (which can’t be studied effectively because a microplastic-free population no longer exists) and one that suggested diets heavy in protein and not enough fibre could be a contributing factor?

  22. dont_be_all_uncool__ on

Why does no one realize is the big ag and pesticide companies, not to mention all the makers of processed food who quite literally poison our food to increase profits are the reasons everyone is getting cancer?!

  23. Comet_Cowboys on

The vaccine is NOT. COVID is.

These lunatics and their denial of a novel virus freely circulating. Blame anything but the ACTUAL thing.

  24. Hey on some real PSA shit, the pandemonium never ended. If anything, the average person in the U.S. has had COVID 5 times, about once every 14 months, and has maybe even cumulatively acquired some level of long-term brain damage from it. Consider that that “brain fog” shouldn’t last more than a few months.

Wear a respirator-level mask (N95, KN95, KF94, etc.) in public spaces. People on social media going on about how they keep getting in every sense of the phrase “more sick”, and why people seem to be more chronically absent from school, every place of business is understaffed. All the while the VID is airborne and spreads near half the time without symptoms. It is still very much out here disabling and killing people to the point where [disability is going WAY UP](https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LNU01074597). Now [Long COVID is now the most common chronic health condition among U.S. children](https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapediatrics/fullarticle/2834486), beating asthma in less than 6 years.

If you can’t find a respirator-level mask and it’s not easy for you to shop online, hit up [Mask Bloc](https://maskbloc.org/) or [COVID Action Map](https://linktr.ee/covidactionmap) to see if somewhere near you is providing resources for little to no cost.

It’s so wild watching these nitwits claim the Covid vaccine is simultaneously useless and also responsible for every death ever

  26. island-man420 on

Maybe it’s all the processed food and chemicals sprayed over all our food, like glyphosate.

  27. probablyreading1 on

An especially stupid thing to say to Katie, a woman who lost her husband (young) to colon cancer, well before we even knew what COVID was. Katie showed a lot of restraint with her response.

  28. SecondHandPeacePrize on

Kristin Chenoweth: “Maybe it’s the influx of immigrants or trans folks using public restrooms. I don’t have a problem with these populations, but what if they’re killing us? I’m just asking questions here.”

    What a rat!

  29. As an Iowan this infuriates me because our cancer rates are skyrocketing due the fact farmers are just allowed to poison our water source and fuck all has been done about it. We don’t even have regulation over giant manure spills. It’s up to the farmers to report it to the state. It’s pure stupidity.
