Netflix’s brand new comedy film, Roommates, has been making a splash online. Directed by Chandler Levack, the film stars Sadie Sandler – daughter of Adam Sandler – and Chloe East as college students Devon and Celeste. The pair are polar opposites who nonetheless bond at their first-year orientation and decide to room together. However, things fall apart when their clashing personalities give way to a passive-aggressive showdown.

Roommates premiered at the Egyptian Theatre Hollywood in Los Angeles last Monday. Proud dads Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock showed up in support of their daughters, posing with them on the red carpet.

The night was especially memorable for Zahra, as Roommates is her debut film. “I genuinely couldn’t have imagined a better first movie to be a part of, and the friends I made along the way made the whole experience even more special,” the 21-year-old gushed on Instagram.
