Not shocking at all she has the most anticipated album this year. This single is definitely getting number one on BB. She reached mega stardom from her first ever single, she’s only going to go up from here.

I like how she doesn’t make music for the fans, she puts out what ever she likes and doesn’t just follow a trend or cater to a specific demographic with her music. It’s all about what she feels is right at the moment and this is a really beautiful song for Louis and it’s refreshing to see a more synth-y song from her.

By comparison aperture did 13.29 million.  I just might 4.78.  The great divide 4.995.  Manchild 8.  Fate of Ophelia… ok it doesn’t matter

  4. I personally really love the song so I’m excited for her and to see where the album goes

  5. Not surprising at all. This was highly anticipated. Personally, a bit let down by the song. It sounds a bit too polished if that makes sense? The instrumentals are drowning in each other I feel and while it has the storytelling she puts in her songs, the lyrics didn’t hit as much as her previous songs. I don’t mind her going the more synth pop route but it was a bit generic (by her standards)

Not surprising at all. This is similar to what Vampire did and Billie Eilish Birds of a Feather. My predictions is the album does a few million more than HMHAS first week.

I like the instrumentation of the song but the lyrics are okay.Good song but far from her best.

Another great example of how the internet isn’t real & most “controversies” only matter to chronically online sickos.

I really thought it would do more.

But they lost a couple million streams bc of bot activity.

This song grew on me in a day. When I first heard it on Spotify I was ehh, but then I heard the song in the car and it’s soooo good.

  11. I am shocked by how many people are saying they don’t love the song. it’s sooo catchy and been stuck in my head since thursday night. i love it so much and it sounds a bit different than her other music which is always fine and refreshing to see an artist evolve.

I think it’s a good song and I listened to it quite a fwq times yesterday. I don’t think it’s a great song and I’m unsure of it’s strength as a lead single. It’s cute but I’m not sure if it’s catchy enough.

I actually find this single kind of mid. It’s a nice tune at all but not the gut punch of her other songs.

it’s an interesting song for sure. I LOVE the chorus, it’s infectious. the opening is also very good and effectively places you in the song. the 2nd verse with the talk singing is a bit weaker (although not bad, IMO, I love the lyrics about wanting to get to know her new boyfriend), and the bridge is solidly mid. it’s not the greatest song in her catalog, and Driver’s License remains her best single, but there’s something addictive about it

“most alive I’ve ever been / but kiss me and I might drop dead” is just a simple yet effective. I’m surprised no one has come up with it before

the chorus is so catchy i love it 😩 the verses kinda drag for me but once it gets to the chorus it’s a bop

As someone old, I always look at these figures and wonder “if they had to walk to the shop and spend money to buy the single, how many people would have actually listened to this?”

  17. Couldn’t make it through the diaper music video. Ruined my interest in the song. Her covers of Noah Kahan and at the RnR Hall Of Fame are all I’ll ever need
