I noticed millennials are open about our ages and IMO it comes from the conditioning of “A/S/L?” as a utility to find your people to mingle with both online and IRL (at least in the party/rave world.)
I just think we normalized being open about your age a little bit.
ETA: Im 41 and have this info on profile pages. I want to find my peers ofc and also I want for people to know what age my POV/comments/posts are coming from. It’s a transparency issue as well.
