And before that part, the visuals also showed presidents of the global south whose governments were overthrown with the CIA’s complicity, MLK Jr. and images of slavery and segregation. It was really well done.

The strokes / Casablancas especially has always been outspoken about their political beliefs, but this is still shocking to see on a stage as big as Coachella where all the biggest acts are sanitized to an extreme degree
