      There’s real American cheese and then there’s Kraft singles. Kraft singles are not true American cheese and are so far removed they technically can’t even be classified as cheese at all. Real American cheese is delicious, especially in cases where you need melted cheese (grilled cheese, cheeseburger, quesadillas, etc) – it comes yellow or white, you can usually find it at any deli.

      On a cheeseburger American cheese is perhaps the superior option although a mushroom Swiss burger is damn good. Grilled cheese with American is a good use as well.

      The only thing I’ll use it on is grilled cheese and sometimes mac and cheese when I don’t feel like dealing with figuring out how much sodium citrate to put in.

      Strongly agree. I never understood why people would slum it with the American cheese product when the far superior cheddar and Gruyère cheeses exist.

      Men will always be misinterpreting Walter White for the rest of time, but I appreciate that I never hear Cranston saying anything complimentary of him (empathetic sometimes, which of course would be necessary to do his job, but not complimentary or lionizing).

      So, I don’t like the regular American cheese, but I like the white American cheese. Non-Americans and wealthier Americans will not understand what I am about to say, government cheese was the best cheese ever in America. It was huge blocks and somehow managed to make the best buttery grilled cheese sandwiches. That’s all I would eat when I stayed with my mamaw.

      In the Philippines, we don’t have American cheese. We have processed cheese food. I think most of our cheese have become more artificial, and yet, when I try to get real cheese, it’s way above my paygrade.

      I guess he had to run out of good takes sooner or later. All this tells me is he doesn’t know when and where to use certain ingredients nor which ones are supposed to be taken seriously.

      This is like me saying I hate cheddar and go on to describe canned spray cheese.
