  1. As an atheist, it’s always shocking to hear anyone religious making sense. Good on this guy!

  2. How about you love people without needing an imaginary friend tell you what to do?

  3. I’m an atheist. But something about this was just so quietly moving to me. Like this is a man of faith trying to understand the purpose of his faith. And also being thoughtful and having humility. I’ll always respect people like this. Unfortunately it feels like so many Christians in America are using Christianity as an excuse to be bigoted and hateful.

  4. The Bible speaks a lot more about how lending money at interest “usury” is blasphemous than it ever does about homosexuality.

Yet you don’t see any goddamn church talking about outlawing the banks.

  5. Hes spot on plus im sure god if he exists wouldnt be mad for loving one of his creations.

And let’s wake it up . The community who preaches about religion the most is black and brown. 👀

I love Kev. He’s always gonna get views from me, it doesn’t hurt that he’s also funny but he’s a genuinely good person too.

  8. In the Bible there is not a single instance of Jesus condemning queer people. When people quote the Bible to justify their disapproval of being LGBTQ, they are quoting Paul The Apostle, someone who never even knew Jesus personally. Jesus died decades before Paul wrote gospel. If being gay was actually important to the Christian god Jesus would have mentioned it. But he didn’t. To be actually Christian, Christ like, is to support and love LGBTQ people and apply radical empathy to all our fellow humans.

i’m agnostic-leaning-atheist but this makes perfect sense to me. any god who would want me to hate gay people is not a god i’d want to worship. and any sort of heaven ruled by a hateful god would would not be heaven for me. i wish more religious people thought this way

when the Pharisees asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment he responded by saying “Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: ‘Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.’” (Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭39‬ ‭ERV‬‬) The lgbtq community should be our neighbors like everyone else at the end of the day.

  11. The bible is so weird because like in this video he says jesus was against stoning this lady, but then the bible has over 500 rules about marriage and stoning

  12. I love him. He’s such a solid guy who really lifts up those around him. I’m glad he’s thriving.

love that he loves the gays, but why did it have to be motivated by religion? like can we just get respect with it being motivated by self-serving beliefs?

  14. If there is a god, and I get questioned at my end about treating people with love and respect, I will have stern words for that god

Kev is a good dude, recently saw a TikTok about him talking about him and his wife going through a tough time and how he didn’t want to lose her. The way he spoke about her showed me that he’s an actual kind and decent human being.
