    1. For those of you who are curious and didn't have Year-10 British History, there are 19 different "Military Intelligence" (MI) departments. The first ten formed during WWI and the remainder shortly thereafter:
      – MI1 = today's GCHQ
      – MI2 = now the non-European relations part of MI6
      – MI3 = now the European relations part of MI6
      – MI4 = the mapmakers (now defunct)
      – MI5 = counter-espionage
      – MI6 = finance for all departments; arms trafficking
      – MI7 = censorship part of Ministry of Information
      – MI8 = codebreakers
      – MI9 = PoW training (ended following WWII)
      – MI10 = planting foreign spies (now part of MI16)
      – M11 = in-house security
      – M12 = extra censorship because MI7 was being too nice
      – M13 = cigars and booze
      – M14 = Germany experts (disbanded after WWII)
      – M15 = now the courier pigeon program of MI6
      – M16 = science, R&D
      – M17 = secretaries
      – M18 = cafeteria procurement
      – M19 = enemy POW interrogation (ended after WWII)

    2. Cooking is all problem solving and with people on the other end, the greatest variable for change. Actors and music industry folks make wonderful spies you all are pretending, finding information and assessing the field at large for content and talent and popularity. These are spy skills and essentially you can read people and you can play a role. โœ”๏ธ โœ”๏ธ โœ”๏ธ
