I have a smoker that I quickly brush off everytime I use it but I leave the grease and some of the char is left behind always and I can tell you without a doubt it makes a very big difference in flavor. It’s called a seasoned grill. Not only that but it helps keep the lean meats from sticking.
😅 I mean I call my dad over to do that 😂 last time he trusted me I ended up with 3 stitches so now I’m “banned from cleaning the bbq” but I can cook with them still 😂 (mind you I was 12 and had no idea what I was doing besides “I’m gonna help my parents today” 😂 nah I was done helping)
This show taught me that hank probably had autism, completely stuck in his ways, goes insane if things are not exactly the same and doesn’t change regardless of how much a better solution is present

Those wire brushes are extremely dangerous to use on grills… Thousand of hospital trips yearly

The point of the grill is not to burn your food ppl…that’s a campfire. The grill is for Smokey flavor and tenderness😂
Use an onion to clean it off
There is seasoned, and then there is burnt. Scrap the burnt save the season
aslong as you don't use the metal brush. don't wanna leave metal spikes in ya food now.
I always thought it was because people thought it was “seasoning” the grill. Which is a thing, but just leaving built up gunk is not how.
Clean it before and after every use. That stuff only ads flavor when accumulated while cooking
