After taking a break from dating very tall men to spend some time with Bad Bunny (a respectable five-foot-11), Kendall Jenner is reportedly back to romancing a guy you’d have to crane your neck to talk to. According to reports, the model has struck up a fling with Jacob Elordi (six-foot-five) over the past couple of months, thanks to none other than her sister Kylie.
Rumors about a romance between Jenner and Elordi started after the first weekend of Coachella. Several sources wrote in to Deuxmoi, claiming to have seen the pair getting close at Justin Bieber’s after-party. According to one of Deuxmoi’s sources, Jenner and Elordi were “all over each other.”
On Tuesday, another source told People that Jenner and Elordi have been “hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months.” On Wednesday, a much chattier person gave the Daily Mail more detail about how things purportedly got started. “Kylie was around Jacob a lot during Timothée [Chalamet’s] award season marathon because Jacob was nominated for Frankenstein and Timothée was nominated for Marty Supreme,” the source said. “Kylie liked him and thought he would be good for Kenny so she was like, girl, get on it, date this guy already.”
The Daily Mail source noted that Jenner and Elordi have been friends for years — he reportedly attended her birthday party back in 2022 — and that she was “not sure if she wanted to keep him in the friend zone or not.” Ultimately, it was Kylie who apparently got her sister to take the plunge. “Kylie is the alpha sister and pushed Kenny to start a romance with Jacob because she wanted to set up double dates with Timothée,” the source said, later adding that the four of them have been hanging out at Kendall’s house a lot.
Kind of cute that Kendall and Kylie have matching prestige-actor boyfriends, no? They should try to set Khloé up with Andrew Garfield next.
