The Elden Ring movie cast has finally been revealed by A24 and FromSoftware. The movie is going to be stacked with talent, including actors from other outstanding series like Game of Thrones and The Last of Us adaptation. So, find out the full Elden Ring movie cast, cameos, and characters from our complete guide here.
Full List of Elden Ring Movie Cast and Characters
The official storyline of the Elden Ring movie has not been revealed yet, and we also don’t know what characters the movie’s cast is set to play. However, we have made a couple of guesses for each of the cast actors, based on their appearance and past performance, below:
Kit Connor as Godwyn

Kit Connor has been one of the earliest actors confirmed for the Elden Ring movie cast, and he is expected to be one of the main leads. He is a rising British actor who has previously worked on Rocketman, His Dark Materials, Grandpa’s Great Escape, and the recent TV series Heartstopper.
When we look at Kit Connor, it is clear that he will be playing one of the younger male characters in the Elden Ring movie. Depending on the story’s timeline, which we speculate may be close to Shadow of the Erdtree, he could play as an unknown tarnished, or one of the more well-known personalities like Godwyn.
His blonde hair and physique do match accurately with Godwyn’s characteristics. Other than that, with rumors about the movie following Vyke’s story, Kit Connor could very well play Vyke as well.
Ben Whishaw as Rykard

Ben Whishaw is an amazing actor with an incredible range. He is well known for his work in the new James Bond films as Q, The Lobster, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, and Cloud Atlas. Most of his roles are generally mysterious or cunning characters with a soft-spoken nature. This characteristic does make him perfect for Rykard’s role, before he became a big, bad, ugly snake.
Rykard could be the perfect role for Ben Whishaw’s acting range, as he is one of the most unique demigods in the Elden Ring lore. Other than Rykard, I could also see Ben as White Mask Varre or even Radagon if needed be. His height and acting range definitely make him eligible for many of the roles in Elden Ring’s lore.
Cailee Spaeny as Melina

Cailee Spaeny is another young actress, and she is expected to be the lead female in the Elden Ring movie. She is known for her work in Alien: Romulus, Priscilla, Civil War, and On the Basis of Sex. The young actress looks to be the perfect casting for Melina in the Elden Ring movie.
Melina is the maiden who leads the tarnished in the game, allowing them to level up using runes. She is also one of the main characters in Elden Ring, and it would be a big mistake not to have her in the movie. Cailee Spaeny perfectly fits Melina’s appearance.
However, she could also play a young Marika if the storyline is based on Marika’s ascent to godhood. Or, she could play both Melina and young Marika if needed, as Melina is considered to be one of Marika’s offspring.
Tom Burke as Radahn

Tom Burke is a masculine, tall, burly actor who has previously worked on The Souvenir, Only God Forgives, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Black Bag. He is the perfect actor to portray those big, strong male characters, which is why I think he has been cast as Radahn in the Elden Ring movie.
The stature of Tom Burke perfectly fits Radahn, although a bit more CGI would be required to make him truly massive as per the game’s lore. Other than Radahn, I also think that Tom Burke could play Godfrey in the film.
Havana Rose Liu as Ranni the Witch

Havana Rose Liu is one of the two asian (or asian origin in this case) actresses cast for the Elden Ring movie. That also likely means they are playing roles that are related to each other. She is known for her work in Bottoms, No Exit, Bleu De Chanel, and Lurker.
From appearance alone, Havana perfectly fills the role of Ranni the Witch. Although Ranni is not said to be an asian character per se, both of their appearances are strikingly familiar. Other than Ranni, Havana can also play an unknown Black Knife assassin, who are known to be all females.
Sonoya Mizuno as Renalla

Sonoya Mizuno is a Japanese-born English actress, and she is well known for some incredible movies, like Ex Machina, La La Land, Maniac, and Annihilation. If she is related to Havana Rose Liu’s character, we can expect her to play Renalla, the Queen of the Full Moon, and the NPC who resets ability points using Larval Tears in the game.
Sonoya is quite tall, and that fits perfectly with Renalla’s appearance. Her age also fits with the character, and I think she can be incredible if cast for that role. It would be amazing if Rennala and Radagon’s love story were part of the story in the Elden Ring movie. Other than Rennala, Sonoya can also be cast for Malenia’s role.
Jonathan Pryce as Sir Gideon Ofnir

Jonathan Pryce is likely the most well-known actor among the Elden Ring movie cast. He has previously worked on Game of Thrones, The Two Popes, Brazil, and Tomorrow Never Dies. Jonathan Pryce excels at recreating religious or wise figures, so he appears as the perfect Sir Gideon Ofnir for me.
Other than Gideon, Pryce can also play the roles of Morgott, Rykard, and Maliketh, by only lending his voice, with CGI helping him recreate the iconic characters.
Ruby Cruz as Miquella

Ruby Cruz is another young actress who is known for her roles in Bottoms, Mare of Easttown, and For All Mankind. She is quite short, so there is a chance that she will be playing the role of Miquella, even though Miquella is supposed to be a ‘male’ character.
Other potential choices could be Nepheli Loux, the daughter of Godfrey and the adopted daughter of Gideon. She looks very similar to how Nepheli could appear in a live-action adaptation, and there is a chance that Nepheli is part of the story if both Gideon and Godfrey have been cast. She could also play the role of the deathbed companion, Fia, but that seems to be unlikely at the moment.
Nick Offerman as Mohg

Nick Offerman is another well-known figure among the Elden Ring movie cast. He is well known for his work on The Last of Us adaptation, Parks and Recreation, Devs, and We’re the Millers. His burly figure and ruthless personality can perfectly fit with Mohg, one of the demigods in Elden Ring.
However, fans want him to play as the Iron Fist Alexander, which can also work out. But the chances of Mohg being in the film over Alexander are very high, because he is one of Marika’s offspring.
John Hodgkinson as Smithing Master Hewg

John Hodgkinson is another one of the older actors cast for the Elden Ring movie, and he has some iconic films and TV shows under his belt. He is well known for Skyfall, Napoleon, Boyz Unlimited, and Witless. His personality and appearance do seem perfect for the role of Smithing Master Hewg in Elden Ring.
Hewg is one of the ancient beings in Elden Ring’s lore, and he could appear in any of the periods in the Lands Between. This makes him likely to be a part of the movie, especially because he is a blacksmith who can craft weapons to kill gods. Other than Hewg, I can also see Hodgkinson play as Gideon.
Jefferson Hall as Morgott

Jefferson Hall is one of the veteran actors, and he has worked in some iconic roles in his career. He is well known for his work on Tenet, Oppenheimer, House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones, and Halloween.
He looks like a battle-hardened veteran, making him the perfect choice for someone like Morgott in Elden Ring. Other than that, I can also see Jefferson play the role of Godwyn with his noble-looking features and blonde hair.
Emma Laird as Marika

Emma Laird is another well-known British actress, and she is known for her work in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, 28 Years Later, A Haunting in Venice, and The Brutalist. She appears to be the perfect cast for Marika’s role in Elden Ring. Her features perfectly match how we imagine Marika to be in the story, especially with her blonde hair.
However, if she doesn’t play the role of Marika, I can also see her as a potential Malenia, but that’s highly unlikely.
Peter Serafinowicz as Godfrey

Peter Serafinowicz is a well-known figure in the Souls community. He has previously voiced Pate in Dark Souls 2. He is also known for his work in Guardians of the Galaxy, Spy, and John Wick: Chapter 2. Now, even though Pate is a character that is basically Patches in Elden Ring, I find it hard to see him play the role of Patches in the movie, unless he is simply lending his voice.
However, his figure and age perfectly match those of Godfrey, the first Elden Lord. This seems to be a more realistic casting than someone like Patches, who needs to be lankey and slimy.
