How Colman Domingo NAILED Joe Jackson’s Voice for ‘Michael’ (Exclusive)

Colman Domingo chats with ET’s Kevin Frazier at the premiere of ‘Michael,’ in Los Angeles. The Emmy-winner shares how he got into character as Michael Jackson’s father, Joe, for the biopic hitting theaters on April 24. Colman gushes about the paternal relationship he still maintains with co-star Jaafar Jackson, and discusses a bit of what his character, Ali, and Zendaya’s Rue are getting into this season on ‘Euphoria,’ airing Sundays on HBO.

  1. Only thing I'm nervous of is them downplaying Joe. Michael was honest about how he was treated and it would be a disservice to him to sugarcoat it. This could be what Paris alluded to.

  2. He starred in more things than Pedro Pascal has started in in the past three years, but yet people only put the blame on Pedro. also, Pedro will be in the biggest movie of this year and he is better

  3. Michael, if he was alive would have some of these request first off the movie wouldn’t portray his dad as a villain instead of with portrayed the Sony executive who was his arch enemy as the villain it would be featuring specific moments from his making of Thriller that he would like to see adapted into a movie and also to make sure to acknowledge some of his biggest inspirations, including James Brown
