Not defending a ped*phile murderer in the slightest – don’t mistake me.
But why does the music industry have such double standards for artists? Plenty of songwriters (particularly rap) discussing real, serious, crimes being committed (and no I’m not referencing the P&K skit about the cops and the lyrics) and nothing happens, they hardly even get arrested
Not to mention all of the other various peds that are not deplatformed

Only reason it’s quiet is because the writings been on the wall for months and they didn’t do it loudly when they should have. The moment a dead girl was found in his car and you’re seeing what happens…? Greedy f vultures!

Was he even trying to hide who he is? The names of his songs, his [artist image](https://iv1.lisimg.com/image/30979342/740full-d4vd.jpg), why did it take everyone so long to catch him and distance themselves from him?
I get it but maybe find him guilty in court before all of this

This is like the hundredth article I’ve seen, it’s not really “quiet” is it?
Oddly enough, my morning mix had one of his songs. He has never ended up on there until now.
The slow-walking of everything in this case is stupefying.
So I’m just genuinely asking here, what creates the exception for the saying “separate art from the artist?” I’ve never once listened to his music, never will, but there’s plenty of other artists that have done horrific things, but people still play and sell their music on a wide scale. Any additional insight is appreciated, thank you.
I really liked some of his songs like feel it and romantic homicide (that last one really didn’t age well) but now I can’t listen to any of his music anymore. So honestly I am fine if they want to go ahead and remove it all
