93 and still a comedy icon Carol Burnett really defined timeless laughter. Absolute legend.
It’s so sad that the anxiety pops in, and my immediate thought is that she died.

Her cameo in Hacks elevated a brilliant show to a whole new level. An incredible woman with an incredible story, meeting, if not *the* fictional version of herself as Deborah Vance is a composite of a few legends obviously, certainly one of the people who inspired the character, then giving wisdom and advice to her younger self brought a tear to my eye, it was such a special scene.
The whole family would be waiting for the ear-tug at the end of each show. Good times.
Can we get a biopic starring Allison Janney, please?
I have loved her since I watched her in Annie when I was just a little kid! But my grandparents have loved her even longer than me, since they watched The Carol Burnett Show when they were young! She has given so many generations of my family so much laughter and fun. Happy Birthday icon!
