Angelina Jolie embodies a Medusa who was once the purest soul in Athens, a devoted priestess whose life was shattered by Poseidon’s violence and then erased by Athena’s jealousy disguised as divine judgment. Chris Hemsworth brings a raw, grounded vulnerability to Perseus, not as a legendary warrior but as a desperate fisherman’s son sailing blind toward a fight he cannot win, carrying nothing but a mirror and the need to save his mother.

The storyboard for this Medusa concept trailer was designed around two colliding emotional currents. One follows Perseus across black, endless waters into a lair filled with centuries of frozen screams, using tight reflections and shadow work to build suffocating tension as he fights a creature he can never look at directly. The other traces Medusa’s fall from grace in golden, temple-lit sequences that slowly drain of color as Athena’s curse takes hold, with Jessica Chastain delivering cold, unflinching divinity and Keanu Reeves carrying an ancient silence as the god whose crime started everything.
