      I've been arrested almost every single year of my life up until almost three years ago. I got shot 5 times one of the bullets hit me in an organ. After a 14 hour surgery and 3 month hospital stay and a 17 month recovery to 85-95% of my former self. I decided from past experience doing time, that I won't get the medical attention that I need. Though i get bored to death, I decided to be more careful and make better decisions to stay out from jail.

      Maybe don’t commit crime. You expect good health care when you are endangering other people? Vets get crappy healthcare, yours should be non existent

      Kind of crazy how. Inmates are incarcerated for crimes. Yet expect medical attention and services lmfao
      All while the single mother working multiple jobs prays nothing happens because of the medical bill

      Yeah it's a messed up situation with the doctors being bombarded with people faking everything so they don't take time to look through every case BC they are numb to the fakers but in the same place don't do crime and end up in prison and you won't have those problems and US prisons are some of the better ones of the world and it's still like that

      Yeah well figures. You think the doctors attitude is shit. I know he did wrong. But it makes sense, prison "culture" rubs off on staff as well.

      The system aint to rehabilitate its to institutionalize so idfk why people are so surprised about literally ANYTHING at this point

      I remember when I was serving time, requested medical because I was puking and running a fever, and had a massive boil in my armpit. They said it was just an infected ingrown hair and that it'll go away, after they cut it open and let it bleed, then sent me back to the block. Gray/green thick puss was coming out for about a week, and then once it drained, went away. Got released, the same thing came back. Went to an actual doctor, they tested the fluid and said it was MRSA. Jails don't care about health. As long as you aren't dying you're fine in their eyes.
