I find it hard to believe she can’t find someone to do this for much cheaper…

No Simone, it’s not. You’re just out of touch with reality. 23k could get a lot of people out of debt and live comfortably.

      Ugh, I hate when I’m charged 23,000 for a stylist. It’s SOoO annoying. 🙄

I feel like she would have known the prices before she chose to go with this team, no? I mean, they billed you for what you had already agreed to.

It honestly sounds like she didn’t enjoy the event or didn’t like the look or something and is feeling a certain type of way after paying the bill lol.

    5. 23k for one night styling when it could change my entire life or any of y’all’s is insanity.

I have zero sympathy for people who complain about the price of a service when they could easily do it themselves

    7. Rich people are so out of touch with what we care about. We wish those were our problems girl! Bye

Low key one of these pays for an avg associates degree and I tell ya what…afterwards you can buy yourself all the makeup advice and look over a million bucks.

    9. I like her and wish her the best, but this is not it. If it was really a pricing gut check, she must have dozens of similarly positioned friends to text. This is some kind of weird flex, like, “I can spend $23K and be humorously annoyed from my mansion … maybe it’s inflation.” Nahhhhh. Just kind of offputting.

    10. I work in film & TV and yeah this is completely normal, especially if glam teams/stylist travel is involved, which it usually is, and there’s usually money included for the cost of a hotel room, transport for everyone, etc.

but if you’re in film & TV, the difference is that the studio whose press you are doing pays for it all. I imagine for some events, whichever brand is toting you along will pay for some, or all, of your glam, too. Simone’s team should be pushing that cost onto someone else wherever possible.

Sorry, but you’re not a good business woman if you are asking these questions AFTER the fact. She looks foolish. And shaming the people who worked on her, as if their pricing is not worth it, is very unprofessional.

it does sound insane to me, but I am just non celeb, British guy. Seriously what the hell do I know.

For $23,000 I had better be on the front of all the magazines the next day.

This is lowkey the reason we no longer see necklaces on the red carpet. The insurance is soooo expensive without an exclusive brand deal.

    14. There must be some famous person you can call. I don’t think chat is capable of answering these questions
