If anyone ever doubted that Tarek El Moussa and wife Heather Rae El Moussa were all-in from the start, his latest social media post should put that to rest for good.
The Flip Off star shared a carousel of photos on Instagram on Monday, April 27, using each slide to write about a different chapter of his and Heather’s romance from the very beginning. And the timeline? It moved fast — really, really fast.

Tarek, 44, revealed that the pair went from strangers to roommates quickly. According to his post, the couple moved in together less than a week after going on their very first date. He also recalled catching Heather’s eye back in the summer of 2019, writing that he blasted his boat horn at a Fourth of July gathering to get her attention before another man could.
From there, everything snowballed. Heather, 38, met his two children — daughter Taylor, now 15, and son Brayden, now 10, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack — and the two quickly became inseparable.
In the post, Tarek also looked back on their milestone moments, going on to describe their engagement on Catalina Island, their pandemic-era wedding planning struggles and their October 2021 nuptials, where Heather — who went by her maiden name Heather Rae Young on Selling Sunset — officially took the El Moussa moniker.

The couple’s journey has only gotten fuller since then. After initially deciding against expanding their family, they changed course, pursued IVF, and welcomed their son Tristan in January 2023. El Moussa also gave a nod to their TV ventures, including The Flipping El Moussas, which has since been canceled, and The Flip Off alongside Haack, which is in production for its second season, Haack confirmed via Instagram in September 2025.
