David Haye is reportedly suing ITV for up to £10 million over claims I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! South Africa’s editing damaged his brand.

The two-time world champion, 45, was involved in many controversial moments, from being accused of ‘bullying’ eventual winner Adam Thomas, describing his model girlfriend Sian Osborne as having the personality of an ‘ugly bird’, to reportedly being kicked out of the London studios by security during the final.

As reported by The Sun, Haye could lose his I’m A Celeb fee over the way he acted in the live final due to an alleged breach of contract.

“David is absolutely gung-ho about all of this — he is incandescent with rage about how the whole series has been handled and feels he’s being made a scapegoat by ITV,” a source told the outlet.

“He insists he is none of these and has suffered trolling.

“He can cite examples — such as the Gemma Collins ‘fat-shaming’ moment, which used clever editing and snide eye-rolls, etc to make his remark look damning.

“His lawyers will go through the series with a fine-toothed comb to find more.

“He is going for damages as a result of the ‘propaganda’ aired against him to recover lost earnings, which lawyers believe could total up to £10 million.

“David previously had talks with Netflix about a show, and these have halted, while other brand deals appear to have been paused.”

Haye took another swipe at Thomas on Instagram by calling the actor ‘fake’ after he was left in tears over the way he said he was treated.

He re-shared a quote which read: “The problem is people are being hated when they are real and loved when they are fake”.

The former boxer then asked fans via a poll whether they thought he was being a bully towards Adam.

Haye said: “Just a quick question ladies and gentlemen, because I’m still kind of confused about the last couple of weeks.

“Do let me know, whether, off the strength of watching I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2026 Legends edition, you think I am a bully.

“Would you consider; yes, I am a bully, or no, it was banter and it was all good.

“Very interested to know the numbers cause I’ve asked a few questions and from the responses I’ve got, it seemed like I was in a massive minority thinking that my behaviour was correct.

“So, I’m interested to know what you guys think. Do let me know.”

77 percent voted ‘yes’ and 23 percent voted ‘no’.
